The team studied about how the Technology can improve the teaching & learning experiences in the class room and the strategy of implementation of Interactive and Non-Interactive channels using EDUSAT facilities for the benefit of students and teachers.

Education Department sets up stall in India International Trade Fair -2005; EDUSAT initiatives of the State along with Akshaya the Major Theme; (Stall nos 5 & 6 ).
Education dept for the first time participates in the prestigious India International Trade Fair -2005. The EDUSAT has been included as the major theme for the fair along with the IT Mission's Akshaya Project. The IT@ School which transformed the class room teaching process has now in the process of bringing in IT enabled education using Interactive Multimedia CDs and also through its flagship scheme - the ViCTERS. The Interactive terminals set up in 15 locations in all the Districts are being scaled up with 41 additional locations -20 under SSA and 21 in engineering colleges.

Sri. E. Ahmed, Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Sri. E.T.Mohammad Basheer, Minister for Education (Government of Kerala) are visited the stall later. Sri. Biju Prabhakar, Executive Director of the IT@School Project, Sri. V.K Sasidaran and Sri. Ramesh Mohan (LMT, IT@School) were also attended.
